INTERESTED PERSONS (continued)

Making written representations on an appeal

If you wish to take part in the appeal by making written representations, you should send your written representations to the PPF Ombudsman within 28 days of the appeal being publicised on the website. This date is shown alongside the appeal concerned.

If you have already made a request for an oral hearing or you have objected to a proposed merger of appeals, your written representations should be made within 28 days beginning with the date the PPF Ombudsman publicised the appeal or, if later, within 14 days of when you were told that you were an interested person.

You must also explain (if you have not previously done so) why you think you are an interested person and include evidence in support where available. If you have read our Guidance Note - Interested Persons who are not treated as Parties to the Appeal (Adobe Acrobat PDF - 50Kb, PDF Help) and believe that you are an interested person and now wish to complete an application form to satisfy the Ombudsman that you are an interested person, please go to our Forms page.

If the PPF Ombudsman agrees that you are an interested person your representations will form part of the appeal, will be copied to any other parties, be made available to all other interested persons and their existence will be publicised under Current appeals – click here. You will then be treated as a party to the appeal. If you are not an interested person your representations will not form part of the appeal.

For a list of representations in connection with an appeal about a scheme notification decision or scheme eligibility decision, see Current Appeals.
