INTERESTED PERSONS (continued)

Participating in an appeal

If you believe that you are an interested person and you wish to participate in a current appeal against a scheme notification decision or a scheme eligibility decision see below.

If you wish to: -

Should you wish to do any of the above you will at the same time need to write to the PPF Ombudsman giving him your name and address and explaining clearly why you believe that you are an interested person.

Interested persons may inspect copies of appeal documents at the office of the PPF Ombudsman by making prior arrangements. To do so please contact his office. If, after inspecting documents, you wish to take part in the appeal and become a party see above.

If you have read our Guidance Note - Interested Persons who are not treated as Parties to the Appeal (Adobe Acrobat PDF - 50Kb, PDF Help) and believe that you are an interested person and now wish to complete an application form to satisfy the Ombudsman that you are an interested person, please go to our Forms page.

If you have any documents or letters supporting your claim, you should attach a copy. You may appoint a representative to act on your behalf. You should be aware that the greater the number of interested persons taking part in an appeal the longer it may take to determine the appeal.

You do not need to take part in an appeal. You can keep track of an appeal and its progress by looking on the website - see Current appeals - click here.
